EDC UNTIRTA BOARD OF COMMITTEE 2023

A new chapter of EDC Untirta has begun. This year, we bring a lot of high hopes and aspirations to the board of committee to be able to bring EDC Untirta into an organization that can be a forum for students to develop their skills in English debate.

Our vision for this year’s committee is we can maintain the quality of EDC Untirta that already exists and was built by the previous generation, bring about a renewal of old values lost, and deliver upon the promise shown throughout the whole of last year, whilst strengthening the reputation of EDC Untirta as one the leading debating clubs in the nation.

We also have several missions that are expected to be realized through the programs that we have planned for the whole year ahead. The mission is putting greater emphasis on shared learning and bonding between members that allows for better communication and relation. We also try to reinstate certain value practices, such as the mandating of all members to speak English in public at minimum in minimum to other members. Adding a focused group discussion as an added schedule besides the regular practice and also making a practice module. Holding an evaluation in the module regards weekly practices to ensure that members are briefed about their progression. Last but not least, we planned several events as one of our programs to introduce EDC to external parties.

To realize the vision and mission, the role of all parts of EDC is very important. People on the board of committees are expected to can carry out their duties for the organization and be able to bring EDC to become a better organization in the future. Now we are proudly introducing you to our 2023 board of committee.

M. Roga Bara Hari as the President of EDC 2023

The president of EDC 2023 is M. Roga Bara Hari that be chosen by an election that has been held previously. Roga is a communication science’20 student and joined EDC in 2021. As President, Roga has a very important role in this organization. The President has a responsibility to guide all parts of EDC to be able to carry out their roles properly. President ensures that all divisions carry out their responsibility so the vision and mission can be achieved.

Dea Damayanti as the General Secretary

Our General Secretary for this period is Dea Damayanti from Accounting 2021. Dea joined EDC in 2021 and is currently elected as general secretary for 2023. As the General Secretary, Dea has a job to manage the administrative task in this organization, such as making licensing letters, invitation letters, making Term of Reference (TOR), Responsibility Reports (LPJ), active member letters, and other forms of administration.

Rayna Amanda as the Secretary

Rayna Amanda from Communication Science 2021 who joined EDC this year as a batch of 2022 was chosen as Secretary for this period. The Secretary is likened to a partner of the General Secretary where both collaborate to carry out their duties in managing EDC administrative activities. The duties of the secretary are the same as the job of the general secretary, so Rayna should collaborate with the general secretary to manage the administration of EDC.

Gita Woro Kinanti as the General Treasurer

Our General Treasurer for 2023 is Gita Woro Kinanti from Medical 2022 who joined EDC in 2022. As a General Secretary, Gita has a task to financial EDC. General Treasurer should manage EDC’s funds, submits the disbursement of funds to the central party (rektorat), and also controls and considers every expenditure of the EDC.

Amelia Saharani as the Treasurer

Amelia Saharani from Communication Science 2021 who is joined EDC in 2021 has chosen as a treasurer for this period. Same as the secretary is the partner of the general secretary, and the treasurer is also a partner of the general treasurer in managing EDC’s finances. Amel will collaborate with the general secretary to do their job which is to manage everything related to EDC’s finance.

Sopi Badriah as the Head of the Public Relations Division

The head of the Public Relations Division for 2023 is Sopi Badriah from Accounting 2021, who joined EDC in 2021. As a Head of the Public Relations Division, Sopi has a responsibility to maintain the relationship between EDC and the external parties. To keep the relationship, there are several jobs that the public relations to do, that is manage the social media of EDC, make a collaboration with other organizations, and be the bridge between EDC and other external parties.

Sulthan Fadli as the Head of the Competition and Training Division

Head of the Competition and Training Division for 2023 is Sulthan Fadli from Communication Science 2020, who joined EDC as a 2021 batch. In the competition, Fadli has a job to look for competitions that are currently open that EDC can register for, and analyze whether the competition is possible to be registered or not. In addition, this division is also responsible to manage an internal competition that is usually held before a big competition which aims to select members who will be included in the competition. In training, Fadli has several jobs that is make a practice schedule for all EDC Members, establishing goals about member's skills to be achieved, carrying out intensive practice sessions priority to competitions, and keeping track of members' ability scales.

Members of the Public Relations Division

Members of the Public Relation have jobs to help the head of the division to manage all of the division's jobs. In public relations, the job is divided into 3 teams, the design team, the article team, and the content writing team. There are the members of the public relation division :
